ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING AND REGULAR MEETING, ANNSVILLE TOWN BOARD, January 5, 2010

A meeting of the Annsville Town Board was held on January 5, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 9196 Main St. Taberg, with the following members present:

PRESENT:    Supervisor                 Scott Leuenberger

                        Councilman              James Armstrong

Councilman              Michael Nobis

Councilman              Mark Trnchik

                       

OTHERS PRESENT:  Christine Broski, Town Clerk; Randall Bowman, Assessor; Colleen Siegel, Planning Board Chair; Terrie Conover, Water Dept.; and several area residents.

Meeting dates and times:  2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00p.m. except November 4th.

Leuenberger made a motion, seconded by Nobis, for the following appointments:

Deputy Supervisor - Mark Trnchik

Deputy Highway Supt. - James Kirk

Deputy Town Clerk - Ted Learned & Mike Matt

Ted Learned - Deputy Town Clerk

Bonnie West - Court clerk

Code Enforcement Officer - Joe Muller

Code Enforcement Clerk - Jo Myers

Town Historian - Anne Schuler

Water & Sewer Clerk

            Billing - Monika Cox

            Receiving - Christine Broski

Water Maintenance Worker - Terrie Conover

Sewer Maintenance Worker - Nelson Secor, Ernie Flagg

Animal Control Officer - Edward Cutler Jr.

Registrar of Vital Statistics - Christine Broski

Building Custodian - David Leonard

Assessor's clerk - Patricia Box

David Rapke - Town Attorney

Town Engineering firm - Barton and Loguidice

Town Newspaper - Rome Sentinel

Town Bank - Adirondack Bank

Sub committees for the following:  Water Board:  James Armstrong, Dan Daniels, Don Phelps; Audit:  Mark Trnchik;  and Recreation:  Nancy Cresson, Joan Myers, Angie Narolis, Karen Burlingame. 

VOTE:  AYES 4   ADOPTED

Councilman Cook arrived at 7:15pm.

                                               

Leuenberger made a motion, seconded by Trnchik, to approve the minutes for the month of December.  VOTE:  AYES 5   ADOPTED

Trnchik made a motion, seconded by Leuenberger, to approve the clerk's report for the month of December.  VOTE:  AYES 5   ADOPTED

Cook made a motion, seconded by Trnchik, to approve the Supervisor's report for the month of December.  VOTE:  AYES 5   ADOPTED

Leuenberger made a motion, seconded by Nobis, to approve the use of the town hall by the County Health Dept. for a rabies clinic.

The closing of the books will be held on January 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. 

Leuenberger made a motion, seconded by Armstrong, to approve the following for payment:  General (17,517.43), Highway (49,339.55), Sewer District (1090.65), Water District 1 (119..00); Lighting 1 (627.42), Lighting 2 (376.40), Lighting 3 (116.14) and in addition to the Clifford Fuel bill when it arrives.  VOTE:  AYES 5   ADOPTED

On motion by Leuenberger, second by Trnchik, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15p.m.

CLOSING OF THE BOOKS, ANNSVILLE TOWN BOARD, January 19, 2010

A special meeting of the Annsville Town Board was held on January 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Annsville Town Hall, Taberg, with the following members present:

PRESENT:    Supervisor                 Scott Leuenberger

                        Councilman              James Armstrong

Councilman              Whitney Cook

Councilman              Michael Nobis

Councilman              Mark Trnchik

                       

OTHERS PRESENT:  Christine Broski, Town Clerk; Justice Clark Newton and Justice Paul Tryon.

The annual report was presented. 

The books were audited for the Justices, Town Clerk and Supervisor.

Trnchik made a motion, seconded by Cook, to approve the annual report as presented.  VOTE:  AYES 5   ADOPTED

Trnchik made a motion, seconded by Nobis to pay the bills presented.  VOTE:  AYES 5  ADOPTED

Leuenberger made a motion, seconded by Trnchik, to adjourn the meeting at 9:45 p.m.
